Dr Nicodemos Christofi

Dr. Nikodimos Christofi was born in Nicosia. He graduated from Acropolis Lyceum with distinction (20/20) in 2004, securing a place at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens after participating in the Pancyprian Entrance Examinations.

After completing his military service, he attended the Medical School where he graduated with "Distinction" in July 2012, receiving scholarships and distinctions for outstanding performance during his studies. In 2013, he ranked first in Pancyprian examinations organized by the Cyprus Ministry of Health, commencing his specialization in public hospitals in Cyprus. Initially, he worked as a trainee doctor in General Surgery and later as a trainee doctor in Obstetrics-Gynecology at Limassol General Hospital and subsequently at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital, where he received training in high-risk pregnancies.

Simultaneously, he participated in seminars and conferences related to Obstetrics-Gynecology and served as a trainer in the Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) programs organized by the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynecological Emergencies. In 2016, he trained in Minimal Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopy - Hysteroscopy) abroad, and two years later, he graduated from the postgraduate program "Research in Female Reproduction - Infertility" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, earning a grade of 10 for his thesis. In April 2018, after examinations, he obtained the specialization title in Obstetrics-Gynecology. That same year, he successfully received certification in Diagnostic Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.

He worked as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist at Archbishop Makarios III Hospital for almost two years until December 2019.

Presently, Dr. Nikodimos Christofi is a part of the team at Apollonion Hospital, practicing as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist and is contracted with the General Healthcare System (GHS).
